Julie E. Kangas, DDS, Owner
Dr. Julie E. Kangas was raised in Idaho and after graduating from Boise State University in 1977, she moved to southern California to attend dental school. She graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1981. After meeting in dental school, Drs. Jungman and Kangas married. Dr. Jungman and Dr. Kangas loved the family feel of Escondido and chose the area to establish their practice.
Dr. Kangas takes great pride in her profession and has specialized in cosmetic dentistry for over 25 years. She is the former president of San Diego Women Dentists. She serves as the president of the Escondido chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA). In 2008, she was selected Business Woman of the Year by the ABWA national headquarters.
Dr. Jungman and Dr. Kangas are the first husband and wife dentists inducted into the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration.
Dr. Kangas spends her spare time raising her four boys with her husband of over 25 years and serving with several charitable and community organizations.
