Don Layus DDS, Associate General Dentist
Dr. Don Layus was born and raised in southern California and completed his under-graduate degree at San Diego State University in 1977. He pursued his dental education at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry and graduated in 1981. He has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years, and has been with Citracado Dental Group for over 5 years. He really enjoys the cosmetic end of dentistry and watching the transformation of smiles.
Dr. Layus resides in Carmel Valley with his two children. He is an avid bowler and enjoys sharing the hobby with his daughter, Alie. He is also the proud father of his son, Dan, who is the lead guitarist and vocalist in the up-and-coming band Augustana! In his spare time, Dr. Layus is a dedicated basketball coach to a group of 10 year old boys. He loves spring and summer surfing and enjoys his old passion – motorcycle riding.
